I see it was a surface find. Have you tested it with your E-Trac? The reason I ask is I've got one much like it I found with my DFX that my E-Trac doesn't see at all.

I now hunt with quickmask setting at 18 and gettin everything

Digger- yeah, that was one of the first things I did once I confirmed it was gold. I got a really brief/short "blip" type signal 12/12-12/13...had this been underground I never would've dug it, thinking it to be falsing or trash. The E-trac isn't a good machine for gold anyway. It's strength is separation (being able to pick out/find old silver coins in trashy parks and other areas that might not be too easy to hunt).

Steelheadwill- I typically hunt in the stock coin program (auto sensitivity at +2), unless the area is super trashy, then I hunt in quick mask w/ ferrous @ about 21, conductivity @ about 30-31....it has worked well for me so far. 5 silver coins in 8 outings this year (I found 17 with my Ace 250 all of last year).

Are you hunting with the E-Trac in factory coin mode? If so you have to get rid of that blacked out line at the top left portion of your screen. If you do not, you will walk over halves!!
