first finds of the year

The ground thawed out enough to finally go hunting, so I went out for a while on monday, and hit the hillside where people sit during the bull riding event every july. It was like shooting fish in a barrel. My totals are 15 quarters,15 dimes,1 nickle,72 pennies, along with a 43 steel and a 52 wheat. I could have stayed there all day, but I had to pick my daughters homework up from the school at noon then go home. This sunday and monday are supposed to be nice and I have nothing else planned, so hopefully the areas that I want to hunt will be thawed by then. ;D

Good to see the ice age is nearly over and looking forward to more posts from northern climes. Excellent site. Monty
