First Finds With My AT Pro

Just got my first Metal Detector yesterday, a Garrett AT Pro. Took it out in the backyard last night for the first trial runs. Within about a half hour, I found a clad Penny, a metal bracket, and a Steelers key ring! Taking to an old homesite today, hopefully will find some old coins!

Thanks! I made it to the old homesite for about an hour today. Found lots of foil, some small metal ring about 3 inches in diameter (maybe off a horse rigging?), a 1917 Wheat Penny, and a 1942 Wheat Penny. Definetly need to go back there again, starting to get the hang of the AT Pro, and I know there has to be some silver coins in there somewhere!

I just received mine too and have been doing a little digging but it is really cold here in the NE yet. On Saturday I fired it up where I knew there was an old home site and my first ping was a 1875 Sitting Liberty dime. Wow... I'm hooked.
