Revisited the Soccer Complex again today. It was cloudy and windy, in the mid 60s. Running a modified coin/jewelry program with AC at 80, DC at 40 and PAG at 4. It was so windy I had to work east and west rather than north and south in order to hear more clearly. After about an hour of finding clad and one bear foot earring, I finally got a solid tone at 16 VDI, 3 inches deep. First thing pops into my mind.....DeoSlyFox told me that a solid 14-16 VDI more than 2 inches deep could be a gold ring. I cut a plug about 4 inches deep, target was in the plug when I checked with the DX-1 probe. I used the probe to scrap away some of the plug and this baby drops out onto the ground. My oh my....first gold of the year. It's 10K with gold heart shapes and looks like some diamond chips on each sides of the hearts. I'm going to get someone to test it. Anyway....George u da man. Thanks for the tip, buddy. Also, 28 coins for $2.69. Thx for looking.
