First Gold this year

Went out to the lake today to try out my excal2 only found the necklace in the water and the junk ring lots of clad . After getting out of the water grabbed my SE with the 1050. was digging tons of pulltabs and bottlecaps was just about to give up and hit this ring about 8" deep 4.6 grams 14k . I have another excal with a wot when I go over iron with it the threshold goes to a low tone with the excal2 the threshold disappeared until I hit other Target I kept adjusting it but it would blast me when I hit other target and I had to turn it back down. the excal2 was real stable no matter were my sens was all & all I really like it don't think I missed any thing anybodys excal run like this HH RonC
