We have had 3 days of warm weather and all the snow is gone. I decided to hunt an old house a friend just bought. I found 22 coins with 11 silver. 42 wlh, 03 -S barber q. 1, 1911 and 2 1907 dimes and 6 Merks. Had 3 wheats and 1, 1903 indian. Found 2 thimbles and very little trash. I hope everyone had a happy new year and find lots of good "stuff "in 08.

Fantastic finds. You are right, the weather here in Mo. was great the past two days. I went out today as well, but I only got one. Way to hunt.....

Half your coin finds are silver, NICE!

Yes, that is quite a ratio of silver to total coins. 4 copper coins and 11 silver is way out of kilter. There has to be more pennies there. Maybe they are mixed in with all the iron signals. I didn't hunt very slow this time so maybe I will pick some out of the iron the next time around.

Thanks for the nice replies.
