First Impressions of Deus....It Does Not Suck!!!!

I recently bought a Deus and finally was able to take it out for a spin. Great design, comfortable and wireless. All great features but we all know what’s really important. What will it get out of the dirt? I decided to take it to a couple of sites that I’ve beat to death to give it a proper test. I was pretty blown away that my first couple of times out with it I pulled a lot of keepers that I had previously missed. Nothing earth shattering but knowing some of the sites I have this certainly is very exciting and if it gets this many targets from the rest of my sites I’m guessing there will be some nice keepers in the future. Here’s the stuff I’ve missed after beating these spots to death. I’m extremely impressed!

They really do suck things right out of the ground. Don't bypass some of the signals in the 45-55 range, they can be gold.

Never been a numbers guy at all. My sites are early enough that I’m scared to death of missing something. I almost left a colonial silver Luckenbooth brooch in the dirt once because it was a terrible signal. I’m scared to death of leaving that NE Shilling or colonial gold in the dirt so I can’t pass any by lol

Nice variety of digs there Abe..Is The Deus sounds like an Italian machine..If so it should find gold no problem...

Very nice finds. I got my Deus about a month ago and I love it! I can swing it for a good 5 or 6 hours with the 11" coil. have you tweaked any of the programs? I use a modified pitch program for the fields I hunt.

It seemed comfortable right out of the gate. I’ve obviously got a lot to learn but was encouraged with pulling some bits from the thick iron

Haha I kind of take them for granted I suppose. I do enjoy a nice early LC in nice condition. This is right up there. But I’ve found so many KGs and LCs that it’s almost strange if one or two don’t pop up. I live in a very early area

Oh I will find more time for sure. I’ve got a lot of sites that I have to revisit. You know as well as anybody how this works. That one signal that a new machine can get might be your find of a lifetime. So at this point in my detecting career it’s pretty exciting to potentially pull 3 or 4 keepers out of old sites that I’ve hammered. Hoping I missed a Mass silver somewhere. 3 or 6 pence that I just couldn’t get to give me a good signal.

For sure Pep. I was like “Jesus man how the hell did I miss all of this.” It’s not like they’re all tiny targets either. I will say the Deus with the 11” coil is much deeper than I expected. That little tankard kid was at least 11” deep.

I sure hope so man! I’d be some happy to pull a few keepers out of every old site I have. The odds would say I get a couple of really good ones
