Haven't been out detecting in a while. Life has just gotten in the way. A buddy of mine wanted to go for his first time today and we went to a spot that was loaded with old stone walls. There were lots of signals, but most were old beer cans and spent ammunition. I did grab this sweet 1827 LC. After a good hot peroxide bath, it is looking pretty good. Couldn't see the date at all when it came up from 5-6". I can't believe I've never gotten one before. I've got the treasure bug again for sure. Thanks for looking!
