Went to the bank and got my first Nickel box as I finally had some "play" money :laughing7: . No War or Buffalo nickels, but a few pre-60 era and two really nice looking 1960-D and 1963 coins. Here are the results. I was wondering two things of the pictures. Is the top 1939 a double die of the Monticllo or are my eyes deceiving me? I have both showing for compairison. Second, what would you grade the two 1960 erra coins. From my untrained eye, I was thinking AU?

1939 x2
1940 x2
1941
1946
1947-S
1947
1948
1952-S x2
1953-D
1954 x2
1954-S
1956-D
1957-S x2
1957-D x3
1958-D x4
1959-D

Thanks for looking

The 2 nickels are XF/AU maybe at best. You can look at the back steps and see the wear.(Just my opinion) I'd say that is a good box!!

Nice box for no silver or buffs.

That's pretty much the same results I had in my last box. I also had a 1997S proof and a Swiss 20 rappen, worth about $.20.

I don't think you have a double die there. I could be wrong though.
