I've finally gotten the chance to take my new F-44 out on its first real run (after two tests in my yard). I'm pretty satisfied with the results:

url2wyX.jpg

- Diamond earring (silver mounting)
- (10) Pennies - oldest a 1964
- (2) Quarters
- (1) Dime
- $1 Coin

I also got my first evil bottlecap and pull tab. Boo! All of these were found within 6 inches as I didn't want to dig too deep and cause damage to the park grounds. I'll probably be going out again here in another hour or two.

Fun stuff!

Went round two this evening. I was out at a park that is supposed to be hiding an egg for the Whites Easter Egg Hunt. Couldn't find it, but did find these 22 coins:

Oldest coin was a 1967 penny. The park I was in was absolutely trashed. Garbage every two feet. I had to get pretty selective on my hits.

I'm in the process now of researching for an early 1900s site. Hopefully get something worth showing.
