Second hunt of the year, first silver(s) for the year. Had permission to hunt an old dairy farm. Of course there was the usual farm stuff recovered, but I also did get a 1945 Merc Dime, a 1945 "P" War Nickel (35% silver), 6 wheaties from the 40's and 50's, a Mississippi Sales Tax Token, some sort of heavy aluminum "LOOK 25 ANNIVERSARY" token with an eagle on it, a nice button, a spicket from a clay jug (left it for the property owner) a silver plated spoon, it too went to the onwer, an broken handle off a sterling spoon with a monogram (does not match the owners initials) an pocket watch, pretty complete, but missing the hands and crystal. The back was off the watch when recovered, but in the same hole. A silver plated compact cover and the usual clad. We also found tons of foil lids for capping the old milk bottles.

If anyone can ID the eagle token, it would be much appriciated.

Joe,
Nice start Buddy. Cool token. Did you see how much that guy wants for shipping on that E-bay token link? $11.95 shipping!!!
I like that button. Any back mark? Do you think it's 1800's possibly?

Great job on the ID Ron.

Nice finds! I'd really like to find an old pocket watch some day. I love finding coins, but it is really neat to find something more personal that meant something to the owner and that they would have worn or used every day.

Congrats on a great hunt!

Thanks for all the replies, MM the button appears to be 1920's to 1930's era. That is also my 2nd complete pocket watch and I have found some 3 or 4 pocket watch cases. Amazing hour people lose those big things!
