First silver

Just started and was out in a wooded area of lower Michigan on Saturday. I got a hit registering a dime, dug down about six inches and there it was. The question that runs through my head is how it got there in the middle of the woods? Now I'm hooked. Thanks for looking.

Magic maybe? Most likely it was dropped just the same as most of the coins you will find unless you are very lucky & find a cache.

I did some research and turns out that this used to be an old logging area and then a cattle ranch at one time. I hope one day I can run into a cache, that would be great. Till then I'll just keep swinging. Thanks for looking.
