I went out for the first time with my brother and dad. ;D We had a great time. I found a bunch of junk and $ 4.32 in cash. It was great. I also found a few pipes and a sprinkler system that my dad said we should cover back up and find another place to look. I was able to dig and my brother got to hold all the stuff we found. >:( I cant wait to go out again. Hope my photos come out so you can see all the stuff I found.

It was fun, huh? Bet you're sore from all that digging. Great finds and all that clad adds up to $$$.
Looking forward to seeing more of your posts and finds. Good luck & happy hunting.

We found all these coins but we cant get them clean. How do we clean them so they look silver again.

Alot of people use a rock tumbler to clean their clad coins. I put alittle sand & some dishsoap in with it!

Wow!! You did GREAT on your first outing! You're going to be one of the best Treasure Hunters if you just keep at it.
I wouldn't worry about cleaning all those clad coins. Save your energy for your next outing. Just put the coins in a jar and watch it fill up.
Congratulations on all your finds.

As far as cleaning goes its a general rule not to clean the good coins you find like that wheat penny to much. Because you can decrease the value in collectable coins. As for the modern clad you can ask dad to get a good rock tumbler. Most those coins will not clean to look like new but some will.

Welcome, Keep @ it and HH!!

What do you put in the rock tumbler with the coins and do you put all the coins together or only the same coins together? How long do you leave them in the tumbler? Thanks so much for all the help. ::)
