First trade token

Hit a local park near my house and was quite shocked to see this come up out of the ground. Can anyone shed some light on the history of this coin? Not too much to go on. F.O.L. with what appears to be a number one. Good for 5 cents in trade on the other side. Just hoping it isn't some kind of modern copy so I can check "trade token" off my list. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.
