Third place so far....not much wi fi here....just saying hi till I get back. Going to see t-net member and treasure diver sads669. We are in long Island bahamas....weather will have me blown in till Sunday!! I will ambergris hunt for a few days...so deserted here....havnt seen a soul on any beach....no footprints !!

Carp are finally hitting good.Got a 22lb.,20lb.,18lb. this morning,the fight is on.:laughing7:I'll be hitting the pump house every morning. A couple Nepali fellas fishing near by gladly took them all,their families will feast tonight.

Five more this morning.They are the only fresh water fish that are caught consistently this size,I love carp fishing.
My fishing pal Mike got a 20 pounder.

Got a BIG one this morning,I guesstimate 25++,big enough that my boot would have fit in her mouth,fought like crazy for 10 minutes or longer.The other two were I'd say 8 and 12.

Nice cuda! I have a cousin that landed one about that size off a bridge in the keys. It flipped up off the pavement and bit his calf clean off...

We have flatheads and channel cats here. Bullheads too.
Your cat pic is of a Blue?

Crappie (Often called "Specs" here in the great lakes area , not to be confused with certain brook trout in Canada locals call specs l.o.l.) are a favorite of mine.
Through the ice , or slow trolled for in summer.
A 15 is an eye popper here....

Nice mess of walleye.

#4 hair rig with a tutti frutti boilie got the BIG one yesterday,today using a spring feeder with pack bait and 6 kernels of sweet corn on a #2 hook.When they hit you better be hanging on for a fight.

Ah, I see braid! I just recently went to braid. I still fish really light compared to most. One of my personal best bass was caught on a little 4 ft rod with 6 lb test. It was fun. My bass rod is spooled with some really fine 10 lb braid and it still gets them back to the boat well. No break offs yet.

I won't use anything but braid,30 lb. test.I used to walk the river for smallies until I saw a guy carping,been fishing with Mike ever sense.That is all I fish for.

I didn't put any up the other day when we fished last I thought they were all poor pix. I kid my buddy about being so used to his smart phone that he can't use an old dumb phone(flip) like mine anymore...:laughing7: We only caught 3 but my first was pretty nice..
