My brother recently purchased a fixer upper, built in approximately 1910. The house has a side yard approximately 100' by 50', probably used for outdoor gatherings and picnics at one time. Hunting for approximately one hour on each of the last five Sundays, I found the coins pictured. Although I have yet to break into the 1800s, I am certainly satisfied with these results. These were found with a Garrett Ace 250. I just ordered a Minelab E Trac and plan to go over the area again. Hopefully the field will continue to produce! JL.JPG

great so far, and I like how you proudly display them.... My coins are in a pile, with their story of being found already forgotten... I suck.

Nice job! You will crack the 1800s in no time! Check the path from the front door to the mailbox too.

Holy Moley! There's bound to be more in there, good luck with the Minelab!

man for just joining, you pulled many keepers in a short while. Took me months to find that amount. Never more than 3 at a time, but usually 1 every 20 hours of dirt fishing. Congrats on the great haul and on a great permission.:notworthy:

Wow!,great finds with the ace!, I just upped from an atpro to the etrac, takes a little time but I think you're gonna love it!!

So far so good. Of course the New machine will help.

Congrats

Great start. If you keep doing all that flirting you will go all the way with those 1800s coins in no time lol

You don't suck, you just want the goooooold! (PS I Love Gooooold)

Sweet yard!! There's probably still more waiting too. I'd keep pounding it and if you get a good soaking rain I'd be all over it.

Congrats!!

Looking good! Love the Barber Half!

Hey can you explain the benefits of rain other than softening the ground ( or is that what u were talking about?). Thx!

My understanding of the soaking rain is that it provides better conductivity allowing you to reach deeper targets

nice assortment
