Some of those keys are really old! I would keep those copper tabs till you find out what they are, nice finds!

Cool finds!

The Chysler FOB especially!

PS

The copper things were used in "roofing" I believe. Like a flat nail or something of the like. I've found 100s of them over the yrs myself.

Yes those copper tabs read as penny/dimes. Since I was in a older area I had to dig everyone in hopes of a Merc dime =/

Maybe next time

Been there / Done that .... yep those copper tabs ARE a pain in the 'ole back !! I usually only find them at houses at least 75-100 years old, so you HAVE to dig em on that kind of signal. :'( Your "fob" appears to be from a old Chysler key chain which came attachted to a piece of black "leather-like" material ( Vintage early-mid 70s ) Nice find regardless.

Keep diggin'

Now that's strange, I found the same button here in Germany. Another guy on the forum also found one somewhere. What is on the legend, outer rim of the button, are they letters or designs, I can't make mine out. Nice hunt! HH, Mike

Great finds, it looks like a lot of people were locked out of some place with all those lost keys. Fun finds none the less. HH ;)
