I keep any food bottles that catch me eye. Anyone up for some Leibigs genuine Beef Wine & Iron?
The Garton's HP sauce is a beautiful shade of light green. The Lea & Perrins is a quart, usually these come in a small size. For some reason I believe the Rumford's is food related but not sure.

Here's a common food bottle. The molded stopper is hard rubber. The stopper has a skirt which snugged up to a cork gasket. I can only conclude that the cork gasket was applied somehow to the bottle, 'cause I can't see how the manufacturer could make it stick to the hard rubber skirt. This bottle dates to the early 1900s.
