It was still plenty warm but I thought I'd try.

Didn't turn out too terrible although I had to stick to the shadows.

These things aren't exactly cheap and it was
underground!

The thing on the right is a hunk of lead.
The other? No clue.

Three whole wheats, slightly toasted. ;)

This puppy came out after I'd asked for a silver
to finish the day with, (I meant a silver coin! :BangHead: )

It rang up at "90" in all directions and I was very happy!
I said, "Hear we go!"

Oh well, got what I asked for, no complaints.
(Good one, Lord!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Lots of change and a bit of old silver. I think we have a winner!

Yeah, 't is! Even more-so where they were found. An obviously cherry picked site, where just a bit of skill and a good detector proved out. ;)

Thanks!

Hi Kevin; That hunk of ;lead could have been used as a soldiers bullet lead supply. At least it is still worth scrap value. That Mag Lite. Use WD-40 Penetrating Oil. That stuff frees "Everything." I love it. God hunting. PEACE:RONB

Nope, not yet. The battery compartment's cap is frozen solid! I have it soaking.

Welp, there's good news and bad news. The good news is that I got it open. The bad news? The entire inside of this thing was so badly eaten by battery acid that I simply didn't want to do what might've been needed to get it working. I mean, first of all, the cap on the battery compartment might have just as well been welded on! Also, there were actual holes in the side of the body and even near the light bulb connection.

At least the bulb was good. LOL

I suspect this one had leaking batteries for a LONG time BEFORE it was thrown away! They probably needed some light in an emergency and found out the batteries were leaking and just threw it as far as they could! LOL.
