Found a mean dog in my yard...

Woops guess she's mine, and not mean either

We got her when she was just a baby, barely 8 weeks old and now she's 80bs! We don't see Dobermans here, lots of labs, pitts, and boxers...love labs, but the other two it's hard to find one that has a good enough owner to socialize them well.

They don't have to be mean to do their jobs - many people see a dobie and say - YIKES! Better make sure I don't tick THAT dog off!!!

I had a female Doberman that I rescued from the pound several years ago. She was the sweetest, smartest and most protective dog I've ever owned.

Beautiful Dobe, probably my favorite dog, we had dobies for at least 10 years, a red female,
couple of blacks & 1 big blue male. I miss them.

Thanks we get compliments on her often, but don't really have any other dobies around to compare with. I got to pick her out...the smallest, most beat up female of the bunch. The breeder told us she was the most rowdy, so she had all these marks on her head from playing rough with the other puppies. We were afraid she would be really small as an adult, but we really don't know what another dobie even looks like as far as size goes! Are other areas the same, or different? What types of "bully breed" dogs do you see most often where you live? Like I said, we see a lot of pitts and boxers, but no dobermans and hardly any rottweilers. LOTS of labs and retreivers though nice dogs.

I got a great half Half german shepard and half rott.

Hes a good looking guy and one of the nicest dogs youve ever seen.

She is pretty but she looks spoiled and I would not want to argue over who get the couch for a night of T.V. watching. Bet she will keep you warm this winter!


With any animal depends on their bred and raised as to how they act! And she has a give me your lap look to her!
