Like usual I was cleaning out the coin counter of dirty, junk, miscellaneous bent coins, and this time...a men's 14K gold wedding ring!

Check it out! I even attempted to find the owner of it by checking with the bank and seeing who had used it last and then making some phone calls. I suppose it could have been in there a while though.

The inscription reads : ARTCARVED S 14KT

Also can anyone identify this foreign coin I found in a box of halves:

Nice score. Rings are to be found for sure. I have found a gold and silver ring in the dump box. Just when I was posting about no good "dream" scores lately you come through. Congrats.
HH, S_F

Wow, now that's a nice score!!!

The coin is from Iran, as indicated in the picture.

Congratulations,

Sweet gold find!

And nice work on the coing ID! ;)

Coin from Iran... it must be plutonium or uranium or something... :P Does it glow in the dark?!

Thanks S_F for the calculator there, that's pretty nice that the thing is pretty valuable.

On a side note, yesterday I did a box of nickels and got a nice full date 1928, which marks the 21st different date/mint Buffalo nickel I have from circulation. However...only one silver dime from the last two boxes.

Awesome ring!!! I found an ArtCarved 18k 9.9g while MD'ng back in March.

Next time I'm in the area, and I see DrDetector's car parked at the bank, I'll imagine him inside, checking the machine. I can hear it now:
DrDetector: (9:01AM) "Uh, boss, shouldn't I check that machine?"
Boss: "You checked it just before close yesterday."
DrDetector: "Oh, yeah."

DrDetector: (9:06AM) " You know, I'll bet that machine's full again."

Great find, man!
