Found My First Large Cent - Canadian 1939

I think its Canadian. If you can give me info about it other than it's a 1939 I would appreciate it. Here's the story .... I was at my bro-in-laws house and stepped out for a minute and then decided to get out the SE and WHAM ... I got a great signal (thought possibly a silver quarter) I looked down and I could see the rim sticking out of the ground !!! I reached down and it was just barely covered by dirt when I pulled it out. No shovel required !

I also found 3 wheats, but no silver yet ..... I will keep looking !!!!

They are very similar to the British version this one is a bit older but you can see the similarities

I couldn't say for sure but i think it"s a british coin usualy found in most british colonies.I seen coins like that when i was in Malta.I spent 2 years in the mediterain sea.Good luck
