FOUND OLD BASEBALL PRINTING PLATE....NEED ID...

Hi Guys,

I have to share this with you.....

Some of you might have seen one of my latest post. I found a lot of 1950's and older genuine printing plates from different sports but most are baseball/Hockey/Boxing.

After a few weeks of sorting them out and trying to figure who the athlètes are, i contacted THe Montreal Printing Museum. Well today, we printed some of the plates. ..

What an uuuuuuuuunbelievable experience....They started from scratch and showed me the complete process and we uncovered plates that are simply amazing.

First off, one from Bobby Hull, then some from the Montreal Royals players and a Rocky Marciano....

Now, i am going to show you the oldest photo of the group, it seems to be very old from the uniform....

I am trying to find information on this one....found most of the other plates.....The Mickey Mantle World series win group photo is very nice (1952 win in club house)...

I would really like to work on this. We've had some luck and a lot of fun on this forum IDing celebs in old photos. But I need MUCH, MUCH better pictures of the plate/image.

Maybe a few of them in natural and artificial light. Highest res possible. Straight down. No angle. Medium dark background.
