found silver today

i went to the dav store today was looking through the dishes and was looking at a plate it looked tarnished turned it over it said 99 cents for the price and next to it it said germansilver international silver company well i got it what a find i also found a old brass 45 cartridge in a creek bed in my area of missouri it could be modern or it could be a yankee 45 cal rifle cartridge and in this area it is hard to tell i will be posting some pics and doing some more research .

that is a nice story but German silver isn't real silver it's a mix of other metals to appear as silver... German silver has a color resembling silver, but is an alloy of primarily copper, nickel and zinc.
