I have some of that as well i found on a beach in Fl. Some said it was aluminum, because of its weight, but aluminum will oxidize this doesnt. Ive had rock people look at it at quartzsite no suggestions. Someone said it was multin metal coming from in the ocean like mangenize. mine is light and not magnetic so unlikely its a meteorite. Ill watch the threat because id like to know too.

Is it magnetic? Does there appear to be a black crust on the outside of it? With those pictures it's hard to tell if it's a meteorite. From what I can make out of the texture it doesn't look like one to me. Sorry

it is aluminum and wont oxidise when its moving around in the sand
a have found many of these on the beach.
some are nice looking.
what you have thier is a chunk of
budweiserite........lol
a meteor would rust in the slat because most are 90% iron

I have also found this type of aluminum at the beach. Some of it is pieces of munitions from the past that have weathered in the ocean. Just a thought, Bryan
