I'm just guessing but could be a Maul that's been eroded away in spots. Pics are kinda shady. More pics n better light! HH

Wow! Talk about being blind definitely not a Maul ha. I'm going to look a little harder this time and hopefully I can find something that resembles your find.

Post a side view if possible. If it has that "flying saucer" appearance, then it's most likely a concretion....

I have to agree with Charl on his assessment. That appears to be an eroded concretion. I have found several very similar and may actually have some around the fish pond.

I appreciate the responses y'all, but definitely not concretion. The intricate design carved into the outer rim was definitely man made. It is an ornate pattern like you would see in ancient pottery. Best suggestion was by a local guy on Facebook, as he suggested that it may be a medicine bowl. Wish I could get y'all some better pics. I will try later, and thanks again for the responses. Hope y'all are having a great weekend!

I looked around and there are definitely more Concretion examples that match your find than Spindle Whorls. You need to take better photos of the design you see around the rim because it still looks blurry to me.

I respectfully disagree. After work, I will try to get some better pics of the obviously man made design around the rim of this thing
