FROGS & TOADS
EXTENSION WILL BE GRANTED

Celebrate! We won this round.

The Fish & Wildlife Service has stated―in writing―that it will extend the comment period. Here is a copy. The Federal Register will be monitored to make sure the extension is officially noticed. Those counties, representatives, and groups that did not file will now have their opportunity to do so.

Next Steps

o Join the July 26 conference call. Education, training, and action plans will be covered. Registration is required.

o Attend the August 6 congressional field hearing, and encourage your congressional, state, and county representatives to do the same. Register here.

Other News & Views

o central planning - There is an agenda. In fact, the future of the world is being planned at a global level. Take a look at these long-range plans and maps, created by master planners somewhere on the planet, but not necessarily in the United States. Once local jurisdiction and planning have been defeated in favor of regional planning and live-anywhere "stakeholders," the same arguments can be applied at ever-increasing levels until global planning is inevitably the result. That is why the deceptively labeled Federalist Papers [pro central government] are quoted ad naseum, whilst little is heard of the mislabeled Anti-Federalist Papers [pro small government]. After all, if better decisions can be made from a distance, from some central location, then why not from Communist China? And if anyone can be a "stakeholder," why not the Chinese? Is China not impacted by our decisions? Truthfully, "We either restore local government, or submit to global governance." Anything in between is in transition to one end or the other.

o ecosystem profits - According to this article, everything is to be given a price and a cost, including "social good". This implies someone owns the world and everything in it, and we are all nothing more than temporary tenants. (Alyson L)

o endangered species act - Excellent article. Dr. Bob Zybach questions the legitimacy, necessity, and impact of the spotted owl listing. http://bit.ly/12JFkvn

o land control - A sample conservation easement program and template was added to the Conservation Easements page. It affects all of the foothills surrounding the San Joaquin Valley. (Trish C)
