FT 16000 and SD 2200d

A buddy of mine recently purchased both of these at an estate sale, complete with extra coils and all the trimmings on the SD. Anyone have any experience with/info on these machines including approximate value (assuming both work properly, of course)?

The 2200 especially if it is the version 2 was one of the most sought after gold machines (some even to this day swear by them) made at that time. Many are still used in the Aus gold fields.

You can do a search on the 2200 and should come up with a couple links pertaining to it.

Agreed, the SD2200 is still a great nugget machine. The FT16000 not so much....there are much better units available now.
