Hi everyone, ok could be a stupid question here. I'm reading a lot of posts about getting the gear stored away for the winter. What I'm wondering is... Here where I live we get mild winters. So let's say it's 45-50 degrees and rainy. Is it ok to go out to metal detect as long as I have my "digital housing" WELL covered? Or will it ruin something by using it in the rain. "Standard 8" coil" I'm a winter kind of guy, if you can call 50 degrees winter lol. So was just wondering if your willing to go out in it, is it ok to take your machine out in it? Since I'm only a few weeks into the hobby just wanting to know if I'll be doing damage to my gamma. Thanks in advance, Bill

ya just bag it,and it will be fine if it stays dry....be mindful of moisture build up in the bag/wrap

Thanks Gary, I'll make sure it's secure and keep an eye on condensation too. Cool. Glad to hear it! Bring on winter!
