curious when they were made and if anyone has a manual or has used one before.
Also how good were they back in the day? I know they were manufactured by Wilson-Neuman and they parted ways with Wilson carrying on with another line of MDs.They also manufactured my very own first MD, the Usika a two knob wonder.
any information would be helpful.
thank you ,
Brian

Hmmmmm - it's a VLF detector so it's not really REALLY old tech. like the BFO detetcors of the 60's but it IS old! lol

I'd say early 1970's to mid 70's based on others I've seen/remember from that time period but have no clue on it's use, depth, or anything else,

Cool find for $2 though - I'd stick it in my detector museum as a collectors item, and relic of days gone by ;D

P.S.

I might even be tempted to tear it apart just to see what makes it tick and if I could improve upon it's tech. if I were you (as me being me that is)! lol

I need to replace the 9-volt connectors and try it out first to see where I stand. I t had the batteries left in it.
those 2 switches on the back of the control panel are driving me crazy.they are both 3 position but don't say what for.
I love its balance wished my DFX or ClasicIII was like it weight wise.Almost feels like a Prizm II and it has a salt mode switch.
I'm thinking those two switches may be the discrimination but not sure .

Thank you on the comments on quiting smoking took years and I still had to cheat( I'm on Chantix prescription)
I started on the bad 2 (PellMell &Camel non filter in 1st.grade)and worked my way to Camel Filters by 10 grade,I've been stuck at Marlborro ultra lights since 12th grade.Hopefully my youngins learn from my screwup . They've seen how hard its been to quit.
