Woke up to SNOW this morning (weird). So I had to get creative by switching to a standby hobby.

Stopped by a local bank that has produced for me in the past. They had $60 in CWR so I took those home. Had my wife help me check for silver and sure enough, we did well!

2x 1964
5x 40%ers

A nice welcome back surprise after not CRH since spring began. Hopefully there is more where this came from to get me through the winter.

Just curious, what do you specialize in at these garage sales ? I tried them for a year or so and filled my garage full of krap so I had to have a sale.
Are you looking for gold and silver, guns, what gets you going ? Jim

Spend some decent time in the garage sales forum and you will get a great idea of what people buy/sell. For example, I mainly stick to stuff I know I can "make a buck on". This includes gold, silver, jewelry, records, certain tools, vintage electronics, bottles, pipes, postcards, polaroid cameras, scrap metals, certain books, coins, and certain video game items.

Garage sales are fun. Alas I work every weekend so I rarely get to stop at them. The last one I stopped at had literally 50 shotguns. I ended up buying a new telescope for 15$. It's horrible lol, but hey 15$ for new in box + crummy tripod. I also look for vintage video games. Never have I found coins at a yard sale unfortunately. I keep my eyes open for cheap golf clubs/gear, new video games also, any electronics, water sports or boating gear, or anything else that looks profitable of course. I have my smartphone to check prices if need be.
