Right so I just got the Garrett ace 250 metal detector for Christmas and was wondering if anyone has any good tips for this device. Also I was wondering about metal detecting laws for PA. I live near Gettysburg and would like to know where I can and cant go. Thanks

Got a Ace 250 myself and a tip would be to basically dig each signal. A pull tab signal could be a gold ring, with me a penny signal sometimes means silver. Hope to see some of your finds found with this machine.

Used it for the first time today. Went out to help my dad find a water cap. I only found 1 crushed can and a big rusty chunk of metal before we found the cap. Cant wait to go back out .
