Garrett AT Pro vs International - Does it really make much difference?

I'm from Canada, and will likely be using the detector 60% in Canada, and the rest of the time in the US. Is one model going to give me a distinct advantage over the other?

Warranty issues aside, I can purchase the US model with a package bundle of accessories for about $100 cheaper. It doesn't bother me it use inches or cms. Are Canadian hunters using only the International model as it's the only one you can find north of the border? Any Canadians using the US model? How do you find using it?
