Lookn4seated and I got out to a Chicago park this morning and met up with SkinnyPuppy and Etrac007. I was 2 silvers away from my goal of 50 for the year. First keeper was a 1904 IH(its soaking), followed by the 1947 Roosie. Somewhere during the day, I dug a pin that has a bird behind a shield. Towards the end of the hunt I picked up what I think is the top to a two piece eagle button and ended with skeleton key and the 1911 V Nickel.

Being 1 shy of my yearly goal I wasn't giving up so easily and figured I would head over to a grove down the street from Jon's after he dropped me off at my car. Yesterday my 5" DD coil was delivered and I figured I'd give it a shot. First find was a 1921 wheatie along the edge of the woods where earlier this year I found a Barber and Standing liberty quarter. After about a half hour or so it was starting to get dark so I started swing back to the car. About midway, I picked up the pin at about 6.5-7". Stoked about the depth this coil gets for its size! :headbang:

As I got to the car, I pulled a play out of Kimsdad's book() and on the last signal I told myself I was going to dig, it ended up being a 1964D Roosie. Just made it. :icon_thumleft:

Congrats again to Etrac007 on that superb Seated Half, and congrats to Skinny Puppy on a couple of fantastic firsts! Hopefully He'll post them.
