I'm a pennsylvannia native and I always wondered why people choose to stand in the freezing cold to see this ground rat.. I went once and that was more than enough for me.. Also how is he not supposed to see his shadow with 50 news cameras and lights pointed at him???

We don't need a groundhog here. We have a very short spring and then 11 months of summer...

Saw a little of it on the weather channel before day light, and it was raining. How did it see it's shadow in the rain?
