I had some time to kill so I hit a park close by my house , that park been hunted pretty hard. I ground balanced my T2 and got a strong foil hit on first swing at 8in so decided to dig it up I through a piece of can so sure and this came out out the hole, this first time that i dug a foil hit and it wasn't trash. Couldn't find any markings but it look and feels real

That's probably why you found it - others probably detected it many times but did not bother to see what it was. Gold tends to read as very low conductivity, kind of like trash.
