I got out once again hoping that my competition left me at least some crumbs since he’s been hitting that place hard. The beach was sanded in pretty bad since the waves are almost flat. Since the waves and high tide was lower it didn’t sand in the top part of the slope. I hunted this 8-10 foot wide section down the beach for a couple hours. Some spots held 1 or two coins so I had to move down the beach trying to fill my pouch. One of the sections I made it to I got a nice sound with a solid VDI of 6 and out pops this nice 14k pendant. This target was less then a foot from a hole made by the other hunter. This goes to show that you shouldn’t hesitate to hunt a spot that has been hunted because we can’t always get everything. The hunt started really slow but it picked up and I ended up with $10.82 in clad. The GE pin is 1/20 of 12k gold fill and a ruby. Good luck out there and don’t stop swinging.
