The prize, has an interesting story behind it. My Brother and I were rolling boulders on Weaver Hill (just east of Rich Hill), in central Arizona, looking for material to run through our drywasher. I was checking the area that had been under the five-foot boulder we had just rolled and I got a HUGE hit. Well, needless to say I though we had hit a whopper gold nugget! I dug down about 2", and out popped the silver Liberty dime! I still haven't figured that one out yet! - Good luck to you and ALL the other members participating. I for one, am having a great time reading all the guesses and comments! :occasion14:

Such a dime as this one with it's arduous yet mysterious back story would finely grace that remaining spot on the special shelf I reserve only for the most unique items of monetary worth found and collected. Terry Please keep that in mind when you somehow read the scale as 23.67 on January 1st. I really need that coin.
