I called Cru'dad today & he was out scouting for some fields for tomorrow. By the time he got back we had 1.5 hours on the nearest field to us, the Gold Hammered Field. We keep taking small chunks out of it but the stubble is pretty tough.
Nothing that great to report but whilst I hook out large bits of Brass like the one I found today, anything could happen.

It's gonna take a long time to cover that entire field, but with that gold turning up I'm sure you feel the need to cover every square inch as you just never know. Good luck to you guys.

I remember your post on the 1st hammered gold coin.
I have high hopes for you guys to unearth another 3!
That's my guess, 3 more and it will be a very fruitful field =)

Lots of work! You're right, with so big stuff left, there might be some nice finds hidden somewhere.

Its very likely that by the time we finish this field that gold coin was the best find in it. Thats just reality most of the time.

Nice finds, & I like the way you posted the aerial photo with the areas you have hunted. It gives everyone a nice perspective as to the situation.
