Gold Metal Find! First Gold!

I found this 14kt gold metal in the park today. My first gold! It's a little bigger than a quarter. It came out of the ground this shiny! It was about 3 inches down. Also found a clad dime, nickle and 7 pennies. I found the gold metal on my second swing!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments! Actually I didn't get excited until I got home. I thought maybe it was gold.. but couldn't actually see the 14kt until I got my magnifying glass out to look at it. My old eyes aren't that good anymore. It sure is nice though.. to pull out something besides clad ...although I don't mind that either.. it adds up! It sure is nice to hear from all of you.. thanks for taking time to reply!
