Ok so I got a dm on my instagram asking if I could help find a friend of a friends lost gold ring. She was doing yard work and at the end of the day realized that the ring was gone. When I showed up to the small I’m guessing 1970’s house the yard was small overgrown. I asked her where or when she thought she lost it? She said “everywhere I was in every garden bed, raked everything swept up everything the entire yard” I swept the yard twice and it was very iron riddled and hard to hunt. However I heard some great tones that will makes me toss and turn at night not digging. Seeing I wouldn’t need a digger I only brought a pinpointer. After asking where she was throwing the most things. She pointed out a large leaf pile behind an outdoor sofa. I helped them move the sofa because it was interfering with my machine. Once we did that five minutes later it came rolling out. So happy to be able to help someone. (We used the proper social distance protocol also the photo was zoomed in along with no mask to show smiles)

My friend's daughter lost her high school ring exactly the same way some years ago.
As soon as MN "opens back up" I will go find it for her.

Nicely done! Not sure if anyone has flagged for HM yet so I’ll throw another nomination in just in case.

Well done and congratulations on achieving the "Honorable Mention" designation here on T-Net!
Always nice to see a "Reunited Recovery", especially after all the iron interference and deductive reasoning you applied.

EDIT: I wonder how long it takes to show up on your Avatar page?

Nice recovery!

We aren’t Nazis and you don’t need to explain how you “followed the rules” - we trust you used good judgement throughout your day!
