well against my better judgement, I got up this morning & watched the 2 hour premier
on my DVR
before coming online.

I didn't watch their 1 Hour spoiler talk show before,
I just deleted that.

Looks to me like Parker Schnabel is going to be the New Todd for comedy relief.
working with nothing to go on. Best drill holes showed "Trace".
I'm thinking his so Called friend Tony Beets is laughing through his scruffy beard,
behind his back.
I hope Parker didn't pay him for the land. Parker said it right,
Tony wont mine the land.

although the attempt at Drama failed, the Hoffman crew just may have
their crap together this year. not quite as Much "Waa Waa Waaaaa"
& no crying poverty yet,
when they needed something done, They coped & did it.
Fixed a Bridge, Hired a chopper to rush them a Diesil Filter, Crawled under wires
with their heavy equipment, with no mishaps

They actually looked like semi-Pro

BS on the diamonds though imo, I still think diamonds are for Chumps.
I hope they are only mentioning them, for show filler.

the other crew with Fred the claim jumper, was a waste of space to fill a 2 hour show

just driving in snow, getting stuck , & trying to add drama.

This show is like a car wreck, I don't want to see it but I can't look away. There is another show called cold gold. Although there is some drama it doesn't come close to the amount in gold rush. It takes place in Greenland and shows an American team prospecting for gold. They use geology and research to sample much like any prospector would. In the end they switch there search to rubies. They spend there season prospecting not mining so they can determine if and where they mine next season. More realistic in my opinion.

The only true gold show is Yukon Gold on NatGeo... All others that Discovery is producing are worthless. Jungle Gold, Bering Sea Gold, Alaska Gold Diggers follows Gold Rush in the over scripted 1 hour crap. The entertainment of these four shows is not how much gold they find but how Discovery makes JACKASSES of the entire cast. The entire show is about making dollars for the shareholders and I would not be surprised if Discovery is purchasing gold for their up close camera shots.

Caught a few clips of this show here and there but actually watched an episode tonight. I don't get it! Parker's big solution was "I want you to know you guys get some of the gold." Isn't that what they are down there in the first place! They aren't digging for fun. What kind of fake drama are they trying to pull that the crew feels good with ANYTHING he said.

Bottom Line, Nobody is there to Help Parker succeed,
they are all there for the $$$$ they can make.

If I was Parker the First one I'd send home is the one acting like he's there for My welfare.
& keep the ones who admit they are there to get rich

Dakota Fred and the glory hole was a bust but Parker will pull out some once he gets past the thermo frost. The guy that was here on t-net and did the Gem hunting show that the weather channel picked up is a pretty good show as well. Bering sea under the ice is pulling some gold as well.
