Hello everyone, being that the wife & I are fulltime RVer's I can't get on line all the time, so here are some of my better finds over the last couple of weeks, first picture with 3 indian heads I found in a old logging camp, they date: 1889, 1906 & 1905, the wheatie dates 1916 D. the silvers I found at a couple of different boy scout camps. They date 1942 & 1944 Mercs, 52 D, 53 D, 54 D & 59 D on the rosies. A trade token from the FISH - JOHNSON Lumber Co. Elcho Wi. Good for 1 in merchandise.
Also maybe someone could tell me if the 1961 Canadian 5 cent has silver in it? It came out of the gound looking pretty nice, any other nickels I find are pretty dirty as you all know!
In the next picture is the jewelry I found at the boy scout camps. Silver ring, gold ring, silver pendant & chain, a silver bead, an eagle pendant & a couple of other rings. The gold ring is a june 1964 class ring from Lane Tech. with the weight of it, it comes out to be around $175.00 as 10 kt. gold
In the third picture is a really nice find, a solid brass 12 ga. UMC CO. shotgun shell casing!! Any idea of the price of something like that? a old drawer pull and couple of musket balls, two small pieces of lead I think, don't know what they are. And a steel needle, I found all but the drawer pull at old logging camps. Thanks for looking & remember I won't be able to respond to comments or questions for about a week. HH Chris.
