Way up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the gold vaccum finds a Chunky Gold Nugget!
This is a highbanker dredge combo and today we are running it as a dredge.
This machine utilizes a suction nozzle that can be lifted out of the water without losing prime.

No kidding. It had been a long few days working this spot and I was lucky that it was just the leg that fell out.
Loosing a bolt or nut in the river like this can put a real damper on your day.

HMMMM ? That's why I always carried lots of parts and tools to repair if needed where ever I was ! YEP I sounded like a pots and pan dealer while moving my trailer BUT it sure saved the day if needed !
