Today I found a large heavy 14K wedding band, an 1844 Large Cent and a 1919-s and 47-d wheat penny. The gold ring gave me the same junk reading I got just a foot back from it, but this time it wasn't a thing-a-majiggy. I thought about skipping it. The Large Cent was in area I had already hit, except this time I got back a bit further under the Paw-paw trees.

Awesome DD! It is very hard to dig those junk signals...and if you leave 'em...you just go home wonding what did I leave behind? :P And neat on the wheat find....I found a 1919 S wheat today too! :)

DD,

congrat on the gold ring. Ring day is a good
day, gold makes it even better.

Nice coins. What is the silver thing?

have a good un....................

Nice ring there. Bet it felt good when you pulled it up. Also bet you think twice before skipping the next thing-a-majiggy reading. LOL

I've learned to just dig all that crap and throw all the thing-a-majiggys, kanutinary valves, muffler bearings and other whatsits in 5-gallon buckets according to their composition. Eventually I figure I'll recycle it all. There's also a number of things that I don't know what they are when I find them, but somewhere down the road I go....hey I found one of those. The silver thingy in the picture is destined for the "what am I" bucket.

Excellent finds! If,n you want the good stuff......dig it all.....Joe

Nice hunt, Dayton, expecially the ring and the large cent. What kind of site did you dig those up at?

Congrats on a nice hunt and great finds! HH, Mike
