Golden Sabre Plus

Anyone use the Golden Sabre plus by Tesoro? I have had this for awhile now and had moderate success. Found my first silver last winter, a 1917 merc. around an old schoolyard. If anyone has tips or tricks about this detector, please share. I have found several promising places to hunt here in georgia, so if anyone is near the Gainesville area, let me now. Stay tuned for postings of recent finds.

First, welcome to the Forum.

Your Golden Sabre Plus is a very good machine, even though it's an older model. If you have the owner's manual, study it and learn the controls. If you don't have the manual, go to the Tesoro website and download a free copy of it. Practice, use, and experimentation are the best teachers for finding goodies. Your Golden is just as capable as the newer ones, just a little bit more "weighty".
