Well, my 1st time out in like 2 months... I hit a spot where m cousin was telling me about. appearantly back in the 50's there was a old gas station there. So I spent a good 2 hours out there.
I managed to pull 17 odd US state tokens from various spots around the area. Later after doing some research, I found that these coins are from a Shell oil game! Makes sense =P
in between those finds I found a 1913 canada 1 cent silver coin, a 1944 mercury dime, a 1905 V nickel,a 1922 french 50 cent coin, 1944 wheat penny, and a Pizza time chuck e cheese 1982 token. I was heading back to the car when I got a good hit. Dug it and found this cool Whiskey token! Oh yea and 2 1940 nickels my friend found in some change and gave to me.
Come to find out this token was from the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair! It says 100 proof ky straight bourbon whiskey.I.W. Harper. Louisville Ky. Replica of 1 of 4 gold medals Awarded to I.W Harper. Really cool piece of history I thought. thanks for looking!!!
