Hey guys, As requested here's the link to the coin microscope on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Digital-USB-10x...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item1c0d6278f5

I'm not affiliated with the company in anyway. I don't get any $ for this.

I've bought 4 of them over the past year or so for myself, family and friends. All have been very pleased. There are a couple things to know:

-They come from Hong Kong and that takes 2 weeks. It's worth the wait. You save almost $100 and the company is legit.
-If you buy a similar one, you have to have the stand. You can't hold it still enough to take pics by hand.

If you have other questions, let me know.

Folks,
Thanks very much for all the assistance in characterizing the error on the dime. I'll take the advise offered and have the coin graded. I am really grateful that you all took the time to offer opinions on both the nature of the error and suggestions on how to treat and preserve the coin. I'm especially grateful for Jason taking the time to do the extra research and for taking those wonderful images. When I saw what his coin microscope captured, I was really impressed.
Happy hunting, one and all.
Respectfully, :notworthy:
Steve
