I got a 1914 D ..Got your attention Huh.. Well its a Barber Dime Not A wheat Penny. But stick around for a neat story. Went to the field agian. Finds getting slimmer but still giving. Got a 1924 Standing Liberty Quarter, A 1914 D Barber dime, a Half of a indian head penny, a Musket Ball, a Buckle, some Due Dads, and a really BIG bird band. Huge Bird it must have been. There was a phone# to call on it. So I called it and a nice man answered the phone. I gave him all the info on the tag. # exc.. He then says ok I will log it and in weeks you will get a certificate in the mail with all the birds info and where it has been. Cool huh.. At least I think so. I am anxious to see what kind of a bird it was as the band is bigger than a penny..

Interesting story and nice finds. Most of the barbers I see on here are 1901 or before. 1914 is a change. It's still silver though, right?? Let us know about the bird band too
