Who would've thought the house next door to my work would hold some old silver. Mid afternoon break I ran over as the snow was starting. Dug a spoon,a decorative handle, a 1893 vicky five cent piece and what kind of really surprised me was seeing a silver bangle in the hole. What's strange is there's no purity mark but has initials that look like British sterling makers. Any help would be appreciated. I've found old silver before and I have no doubt that it is solid silver. Who knew a one minute walk and twenty minute break would turn out so good. Wish I would've had my phone for pics this time. The vicky is tarnished black but I've been long overdue for more vicky silver so I'm happy. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

I told a few buddies I detect with, I'm glad I retired and then started this hobby. I probably would have gotten fired sneaking off from work and calling in sick all the time, lol.

Nice finds, you'll lose weight now from lack of lunch pounding the site next door.

I won't have to worry about that this time because it's right next door to work. I'd be busted calling in sick. Unless I get maybe get one of these haha...

Anyone have any ideas to find out more on the silver bangle? Know of any old silver jewelry sites or forums that may be good to ask?
